NQG-9 Internal Combustion Rail Cutting Machine

1. Introduction:

The NQG-9 internal combustion rail cutting machine is a professional rail cutter designed for cutting various types of rails in power-free construction sites. As a high-performance rail cutting machine, it is an ideal choice for track maintenance, bridge engineering, line overhaul and other related departments, featuring high efficiency, portability and reliable performance, which can greatly improve the construction efficiency of rail cutting operations.

2. Working Principle:

This rail cutter adopts a swing mechanism to drive the grinding wheel to reciprocate, maintaining a small contact length between the grinding wheel and the workpiece (rail). This design enables the rail cutting machine to achieve fast and efficient cutting. The machine structure allows cutting from two directions: the top of the rail and the side of the rail web. Heat dissipation is realized through the grinding wheel and the rail being cut, which effectively reduces the temperature during operation and greatly improves the cutting efficiency and service life of the grinding wheel for the rail cutting machine.

4. Operation Steps of Rail Cutter (Rail Cutting Machine)

Step No.

Operation Content & Requirements

1

Add an appropriate amount of gasoline and lubricating oil in accordance with the gasoline engine manual, and complete all pre-start preparation work to ensure the machine can start normally.

2

Place the machine in a stable and balanced position, then use the rail clamp jackscrews to lock the machine firmly at the appropriate position on the rail to prevent displacement during operation.

3

Install the grinding wheel correctly, and carefully check whether all fasteners are tightened in place to avoid loosening during operation, which may cause safety hazards.

4

Start the gasoline engine strictly in accordance with the procedures and precautions specified in the manual to ensure safe and correct startup.

5

For rail cutting: hold the two handles, move the machine gently back and forth, and feed appropriately. The cutting process is divided into three steps:

① Cut vertically downward from the rail top to the limit position of the grinding wheel;

② Move the cutting machine forward to cut the rail base to half of its width;

③ Move the cutting machine backward again to cut the other side of the rail base, and complete the rail cutting operation.

5. Safety Precautions for Rail Cutter & Rail Cutting Machine

  • Operators must read the operation manual carefully before using the rail cutting machine (rail cutter) and master the correct operation method and safety precautions.
  • Wear protective equipment (such as goggles, gloves, anti-slip shoes) during operation to prevent injury from sparks, debris or machine vibration.
  • Do not touch the rotating grinding wheel or the high-temperature rail during operation to avoid scalding or mechanical injury.
  • Regularly check the machine's components (such as grinding wheel, fasteners, fuel pipe) for damage or loosening, and repair or replace them in time.
  • Stop the machine immediately when abnormal noise, vibration or other faults occur during operation, cut off the power supply, and check and troubleshoot before restarting.
  • Store the machine in a dry, ventilated and clean place when not in use, and drain the fuel and lubricating oil if it is not used for a long time to avoid component damage.
