1. Brief introduction:


Our Digital Rail Wear Gauge is a high-precision measuring instrument specifically designed for detecting vertical and lateral wear of steel rails. The GMC-43/GMC-50/GMC-60/GMC-75 digital rail wear measuring instruments are dedicated to the detection of vertical and lateral wear of steel rails. The vertical wear measurement position is at 1/3 of the rail head width, and the lateral wear measurement position is 16mm below the rail tread, complying with relevant industry standards and ensuring standardized measurement.

4. Operating Instructions

  • Hold the handle firmly and position the wear gauge on the outer side of the measured rail, ensuring stable placement without shaking.
  • Push the vertical wear measuring rod and lateral wear measuring rod respectively, so that their measuring heads are closely in contact with the top surface and inner side of the rail (ensure full contact to avoid measurement errors).
  • After the display data is stable, directly read the vertical wear and lateral wear values from the digital display unit.
  • After measurement, reset the measuring rods and store the instrument in a dry and clean environment to extend its service life.
