1.Brief introduction:

Our Wheel Set Running-in Test Bench is specially designed for running-in tests of high-power AC drive locomotive wheel sets (HXD1, HXD1B, HXD2, HXD2B, HXD3, HXD3B, etc.), ensuring reliable test data for subsequent maintenance.

2. Structure & Function

Integrated with mechanical, electrical and hydraulic design, the test bench consists of 2 sets of mechanical devices and 1 set of electrical control system, supporting simultaneous or sequential tests of 1-2 wheel sets. It is equipped with high-precision contact sensors (installed magnetically) to measure vibration (X/Y/Z directions), temperature and speed of axle boxes, gear boxes and traction motors, with real-time data recording, analysis and alarm functions. Two feeding methods (manual hoisting and automatic feeding) are available for different working conditions.

3. Advantages

• High compatibility: Suitable for wheel sets with/without wheels, axle boxes and bearings, adapting to mass production and new product development.
• High precision: Electrical sensor accuracy ≥0.5 class, speed accuracy ≥±2r/min, temperature accuracy ≥±1℃.
• Easy operation: Equipped with iFix-based control software (Windows XP) and PLC + industrial computer control system, supporting automatic/manual switch.
• Stable & reliable: Core components (inverter, transformer, etc.) are international famous brands; vibration isolation design ensures data accuracy and reduces environmental impact.
