1. Product Function

The Mobile Ultrasonic Flaw Detector for Locomotive Wheel Rim and Spoke (Online) is applied to the online flaw detection and scanning of high-power locomotive wheels. It can detect various directional defects and internal volume defects on the wheel flange, wheel rim and web.

2. Product Features

  • Mobile type, adopting 64/256 (or 32/128) channel phased array flaw detection technology.
  • Automatic flaw detection equipment, applicable to HXD series / HXN series / SS series / DF series.
  • Online flaw detection and scanning of all types of locomotive wheels (including Harmony, Shaoshan, Dongfeng series, etc.) can be completed without disassembling the locomotive bogie.
  • Adopting robot technology with flexible movements, it can complete wheel scanning without disassembling the sand pipe and obstacle deflector.
  • The flaw detection trolley can complete the flaw detection of all wheels with one forward pass, without the need for interval wheel flaw detection and U-turn reverse operation, which greatly simplifies the flaw detection process and reduces the number of auxiliary flaw detection personnel.
  • Equipped with manual teaching mode to adapt to the wheel set space at the bottom of bogies of different models.
  • Adopting phased array ultrasonic testing technology, it features flexible scanning and can adapt to the detection of wheels of different shapes.
  • Water coupling is used for flaw detection, which is low in cost and pollution-free.
  • The product has completely independent intellectual property rights and can be customized according to user needs.
  • The probe is designed with a special water supply and water storage tank, ensuring stable coupling effect.
