1. Product Overview
The CK8011 is a high-precision CNC wheel set lathe designed for the maintenance and processing of standard gauge (1435mm) railway passenger and freight wheelsets. Integrating machinery, electricity and hydraulics, it is equipped with a Siemens CNC system and advanced drive technologies, enabling efficient processing of various wheel profiles including RD2, RE2, RG, RD3, RD4 and other typical models. It can perform turning operations on wheel flanges, treads, inner sides and two axle-mounted brake discs.
2. Key Features
- High-Precision Control: Equipped with a Siemens CNC system and industrial PC with open network communication interfaces, supporting data transmission and remote communication.
- Dual-Mode Operation: Features automatic and manual control modes. Customized programs are available for different wheel specifications to achieve CNC profiling of wheel flanges and treads.
- Efficient Loading: Supports two loading methods—crane lifting or track pushing—ensuring smooth alignment of wheelsets onto the machine.
- Accurate Positioning: The lifting device uses three travel switches to adjust height, enabling quick centering via tailstock centers. The spindle-mounted center sleeves allow adaptation to different axle lengths within the stroke range.
- Reliable Tooling: Adopts Sandvik (Sweden) indexable carbide inserts with excellent chip-breaking, impact resistance and low cutting resistance. Auto tool return function is available after tool change.
- Brake Disc Processing: Equipped with dedicated tool holes on both left and right tool posts for machining axle-mounted brake discs.
- Smart Monitoring: Built-in automatic performance monitoring and fault prediction systems enhance operational safety.
- Safety & Compliance: Full safety protection systems comply with ISO14001 environmental management and OHSAS18000 occupational health & safety management standards.
