1. Brief introduction:

The SUN-I Mobile Ultrasonic Flaw Detector is an automated non-destructive testing (NDT) device specifically designed for detecting surface fatigue defects and internal volume defects of EMU hollow axles. It is a core maintenance equipment for high-speed rail safety, and also applicable to locomotive manufacturing plants and metro (hollow axle) inspection fields. The device features independent R&D core technology, compact structure and high detection accuracy.

Structure Module

Key Features

Ultrasound Controller

Independent R&D core, with hardware detection circuit and self-developed software; emits/receives ultrasonic signals, processes data and uploads information; passed Jiangsu Provincial New Product & Technology Identification.

Probe System

Innovative structure, stable balance and accurate centering; with sealed rotary oil chamber, dual oil circuit recovery system and guiding pulley; oil-tight, good coupling effect; localized probe passed technical review.

Coupling Transmission System

Integrated design with independent IP; quick locking device for easy operation; compatible with 30~110mm diameter probe systems, adaptable to different axle inner holes.

Flaw Detector Control System

Integrated with ultrasound controller and mechanical parts; independent IP; consists of data processing, transmission control and display operation units.

Mechanical Overall

Composed of main body, transmission mechanism and traveling mechanism; compact, lightweight and easy for on-site operation.
